What I'm Up To

I saw this on a blog a long, long time ago, and decided to try it out! 

LIFE

We bought a sailboat in August 2015. We finally got the boat, a Hunter 27, up to Marina del Rey from San Diego, where we found it. We sail as often as we can but the last few weekends have been too cold, and the flu cycled through our household.

I made a pretty in my house with wall stickers. We rent so decorating is limited!

Also, I've been eating more smoothie bowls. As a vegan, for a year now, I haven't had much trouble finding plant-based sources of protein, but I HAVE had to prove it to my family, and voila! This yummy bowl packs 19.8 grams of protein and lots of nutrients!

WRITING 

First and foremost, I'm writing. Microsoft Word, Scrivener, pen and paper, Post-it notes, even using the Word app on my phone. Writing. But what am I writing?

I'm currently querying my NA/A crossover THE FUNDAMENTAL THEORY OF US. Adult contemporary romance WIPs include military romance SEAL THE DEAL, contemporary romance LIGHTHOUSE IN THE DARK, and the HARBOR ISLAND SERIES, titles forthcoming.

Yeah, I know. That's a LOT of WIPs. Such are the perils of writing with ADHD. But that's not all. I also write Young Adult fiction as Ashley Graham. I'm currently querying a YA scifi, and have 2 WIPs on the go—a YA fantasy and contemporary YA.

THE CONTINENT by Keira Drake (YA) Now, be jealous, because this incredible book isn't released yet. I know the author. I also have a serious crush on her. Just saying.
SIMON VS. THE HOMO SAPIENS AGENDA by Becky Albertalli (YA) Seriously awesome LGBT fiction.
THE PALE HORSEMAN (Saxon Tales Book 2) by Bernard Cornwell - The original VIKINGS!!! 
DRAGONFLY IN AMBER by Diana Gabaldon - I'm a little bummed that there isn't a Jamie Fraser store out there selling his clones.

WHAT I'VE WATCHED - MOVIES
Umm this is embarrassing. I don't get out to theaters (I want to but there's no time, seriously). But as Amazon and Netflix go, I've watched:
Maidentrip - Documentary about Laura Dekker
If I Stay - So well done. The feels.
Deep Water - Documentary about a round-the-world sailing race that went terribly wrong for one man and his family.
